The role of Guidance in our school follows the Nova Scotia Department of Education Program Outcomes for Comprehensive Guidance and Counselling. This model delivers programs and services to all students in the school. Guidance works very closely with Program Support, the Youth Health Center and School-Community Outreach to assist in the development of student competencies in the areas relating to the essential graduation learnings.
The areas of responsibility include: Guidance Curriculum; Counselling, Consultation and Coordination; Life and Career Planning; and Program Management and System Support.
