When it is stormy or road conditions are poor, make sure school is open and busses are running before you send your children to the bus stop or bring them to school.
The best way to find out if busses are cancelled or if schools are closed is to monitor the local radio or television stations and the school board website, Twitter feed( @CCRCE_Official) and CCRCE's Facebook page. Closure and cencellation notices are sent to: **All local radio and television stations within CCRCE, **CBC radio in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, **CFCY radio in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
If there are cancellations within the school board, the green "schools open" link on our website will be changed to red and will read "schools closed." By clicking this link you can access up-to-date information regarding closure and cancellation information.
